This place needs to train their employees better or hire someone old enough. These kids / teenagers at the cash register are just too comfortable with their job. They throw our items after bagging them and hands us the receipt as they’re throwing it to us. If you’re going to hire kids, at least train them properly. The girl just looks like my daughter at home in her pajamas. If they’re home they can be whoever they want. But they need to know this is actually their job.

Happy they reopened, but now I’m paranoid of packaged items due to mold. This is a health hazard for anyone with a compromised/delicate immune system + the 삼각김밥 or the triangle kimbaps have no taste whatsoever, the rice is too soggy, and they’re way too small for the price.

Have been here many times and can’t believe I have never done a review. Love trying new items and finding what I need for my favorite Asian recipes. This Kimchi mart is a little smaller that the first one I visited but is still packed with lots of goodies. Sometimes it’s a little overwhelming with the multitude of options for the same thing and staff isn’t always available or that helpful in deciphering what to get so that can be trial and error until you find your favorite brand. On my last visit the prepared food section has really stepped up their game. We tried the fish spring roll and it was fresh and filling and the chili sauce was very nice.

Buyers beware. On my first visit to this Asian market, I was overcharged on three different items the shelf prices did not match what I was charged at the register. It was about $1 extra per item, totaling $3. It’s not about the $3 , it’s about the principle. If this happens to every customer, that’s serious overcharging. When I showed photo proof, the cashier dismissed it and kept helping other customers. To make it worse, three boxes of tteokbokki I purchased were expired, wasted money because they have a no exchange policy. Check your receipt carefully before you leave. I won’t be returning.

I had a great experience at this Asian supermarket. The store was neat, clean, and very well organized, which made it easy to explore everything they had. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, creating a really comfortable shopping atmosphere. What stood out most was the huge and diverse inventory—you can find so many unique ingredients, snacks, and items you won’t see in regular grocery stores. It’s definitely a place I’d recommend for anyone looking to try new ingredients or experiment with different dishes at home. I’m definitely coming back to try more. The sushi bar looked amazing—fresh, well-made, and seriously tempting. They also had chicken wings that looked delicious, so that’s another thing on my list for next time. Overall, a very unique and enjoyable shopping experience. Highly recommended!
